As Chief People Officer, Ann Lazarus-Barnes is responsible for leading the human capital programs and processes that support Lionbridge’s organization and strategic goals.
Prior to Lionbridge, Ann was the Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner at Ascend Learning, a technology education company, where she and her client groups worked to increase employee engagement and lead key acquisitions. In previous roles at Convergys, Fifth Third Bank, and Macy*s, Ann led talent strategy, acquisition, and development, as well as performance management, employee/labor relations, and organizational diversity.
Ann is recognized by the National Retail Federation with the Silver Award for the most significant contribution to the retail industry. She also received Employer of Choice by Executive Female, Diversity, Inc., and the National Retail Federation. Additionally, Ann was recognized in 2012 as Ohio’s Glass Ceiling recipient for her work in the advancement of women. She holds bachelor’s degrees in History and Soviet Studies from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
