WALTHAM, Mass – Lionbridge, a global leader in translation and localization solutions, announced it was again named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Women in recognition of its demonstrable culture of inclusion and opportunity.
The selection was based on an independent survey conducted by Statista of 50,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees.
This is the company’s third recognition from Forbes this year. In February, Lionbridge was listed as one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2021, showcasing the company’s ongoing commitment to employees and exceptional workplace standards. In April, Lionbridge was also listed as one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity for 2021, reaffirming the company’s mission to create an environment where diverse individuals thrive.
“Now more than ever, it is important for companies to support their people and their diversity,” said Ann Lazarus-Barnes, Chief People Officer of Lionbridge. “We are extremely proud to continually be recognized as a positive work environment for women and all of our employees, regardless of gender identity or background.”
In a year that saw many women forced to leave the workforce, Lionbridge has continued to adapt and focus on prioritizing a flexible environment for its global employees.
“It is imperative to recognize and accommodate the relentless demands of families and careers that individuals, but particularly women, face,” said Lionbridge Chief Executive Officer John Fennelly. “Creating an environment that provides flexibility and trust is important and necessary. I’m glad we’ve been recognized by Forbes for our ongoing efforts to support our diverse team.”
